Candy Factory Condos

The Candy Factory Condos rest inside a historic, 100-plus-year-old warehouse building on the western edge of the South Main Arts District. The iconic property at the corner of Wagner Place and Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue includes the adjacent Candy Factory Suites, a three-level office building that serves as the home for a variety of law firms and other small businesses. That building was constructed in 1907 and originally served as the home of the Shelby Candy and Coffee Co. The building saw the manufacture of candy until 1922, when it was converted into the Wagner Street Grocery. The property became residential condominiums in 1990, with various ground-level commercial uses.

The Candy Factory’s condo units range in size from 1,549 square feet up to 1,788 square feet. These spacious units feature two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The building is situated a block east of the River Walk that overlooks the Mississippi River and just a couple blocks west of the restaurants and nightlife along Main Street.
